Child Protection Policy for players under 18 years
We recommend that all players under the age of 18 years old have a parent/guardian present during the tournament.
Purpose
To ensure the safety and well-being of all children involved in the Exeter Cup.
Scope
Applies to all staff, volunteers, coaches, referees, participants, and spectators.
Code of Conduct

Treat all children with respect and dignity.

Avoid being alone with a child out of others' view.

Refrain from inappropriate physical contact and language.
Reporting

Report any concerns or suspicions of child abuse to the Event Organisers.
Confidentiality

Maintain confidentiality of all child protection concerns and reports.
Support

Provide necessary support to children who report abuse, including contacting local child protection services.
By adhering to this policy, we commit to providing a safe environment for all children at the Exeter Cup.

Introducing the Inaugural Exeter Cup Pickleball Tournament!
Be part of the exciting launch of a brand new pickleball competition - the Exeter Cup! This inaugural tournament will take place on September 7th, 2024 at the fantastic University of Exeter, Streatham Sports Park.
We'll feature multiple age groups and skill levels for competitors, along with a raffle and sponsor stand from The Manor and Ashbury Resort in Okehampton. Pickleball People will also be on-site for all your equipment needs!
Gold, silver and bronze medals are up for grabs for the top three in each skill division, to be awarded in a medals ceremony at the climax of the day. The overall best performing team across all 4.0+ categories will be awarded the coveted nickel-plated Exeter Cup, alongside a cash prize of £150!
Free entry for spectators. All proceeds from the event will go towards furthering the growth of Pickleball in Exeter and its surrounds. A donation will also be made to Pickleball England.

Free entry for spectators
Players under the age of 18 may register, but we recommend that a parent or guardian is present throughout the tournament. Please see our Child Protection Policy at the bottom of this page.

If you do not have a partner we will try to allocate you one.
If a category does not receive a sufficient number of entries Exeter Pickleball Club reserves the right to merge categories together. If this occurs you will be notified via email.
Registration fee is non-refundable unless we are unable to find you a partner.
